The aim of the kitchens is to provide nutritious meals so sufferers can follow their treatment programmes properly. The result? Lives are prolonged, in many cases by years. The Food Kitchen project in the Lwandle township was funded by Ukuthasa in partnership with a number of local churches. Without proper nutrition, thousands of people will continue to die needlessly.
