![]() Ukuthasa is committed to raising the awareness of HIV and Aids, with the goal of increasing life expectancy so countless thousands of people have a chance of survival they wouldn't otherwise have had. With her training funded by the charity, co-founder Nicky Welsh has become a fully qualified Aids counsellor. She now trains others to reach out to people in the community with HIV and Aids. It is only through training and counselling that we can do something about the shocking statistics surrounding HIV and Aids. We desperately need your help to fund this vital work.
If you’d like to buy a pin badge – or, even better, take a batch to sell in aid of Ukuthasa in support of the fight against HIV/Aids, please contact us The pins are handmade by Sam Makhasi, who’s based in the Lwandle township, as part of a job-creation scheme funded by Ukuthasa.
